As a critical care nursing service, JBA Home Care provides advanced adult and paediatric nursing care to support participants with complex health needs in a home setting. All services are delivered in alignment with NDIS, ensuring supports are reasonable and necessary, goal-oriented, and compliant with NDIS Practice Standards.

Our nursing services include:

• Comprehensive assessments, vital signs and neurological monitoring
• Oxygen therapy, ventilator support & monitoring (home ventilators), early recognition and management of respiratory deterioration, tracheostomy and airway care, suctioning
• Cardiac assessment (heart rate, rhythm awareness, blood pressure monitoring), monitoring of heart failure symptoms, escalation of care for chest pain, hypotension, and arrhythmia symptoms
• Stroke after-care monitoring, seizure management and safety planning
• Enteral feeding (NG, PEG, PEJ) management, stoma care (colostomy, ileostomy), bowel management plans
• Catheter care (IDC, SPC), fluid balance monitoring
• Blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration and titration (as prescribed), education in diabetes and hypoglycemia
• Complex wound assessment and dressing, pressure injury staging and management
• Paediatric and family-centred care, including paediatric vital sign monitoring, developmentally appropriate assessment, family education and support, and management of complex paediatric conditions in the home.
